1. Agreement and related policies

By creating an account or using GrapeVine, you agree to these Terms and the Acceptable Use Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information. Pricing and the Refund and Cancellation Policy explain paid membership terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Adults only and account responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement. Do not create an account for a minor, misrepresent your age or identity, impersonate another person, or use someone else’s account. Keep your sign-in credentials secure and tell us if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for content and activity you authorize through your account.

3. Human trafficking, sexual exploitation and abuse are prohibited

You must not use GrapeVine to engage in, promote, facilitate, solicit, aid, abet, encourage or profit from human trafficking (including sex trafficking), sexual exploitation, sexual violence, coercion, grooming, child sexual abuse or exploitation, or any other form of abuse. This prohibition applies to profiles, photos, messages, introductions, links and offline conduct connected to the service. Consent obtained through force, fraud, threats or coercion is not consent.

Child sexual abuse material, including generated or manipulated depictions, is strictly prohibited. Do not upload, request, link to, distribute or trade such material. Accounts involving minors or exploitation may be removed, and we follow applicable reporting and preservation obligations.

4. Permitted use and prohibited commercial activity

Use GrapeVine for lawful, consensual personal connections. Harassment, stalking, threats, hate, scams, extortion, non-consensual intimate imagery, spam, scraping, account trading and attempts to bypass access or payment controls are prohibited.

GrapeVine is not a marketplace for prostitution, escort services, compensated sexual activity, pornography, paid sexual content or trafficking. Do not advertise, arrange, sell, buy or facilitate these activities. Paying for Premium buys access to app features, not access to a person, sexual services, consent or a guaranteed introduction.

5. Trust context is not a safety guarantee

Connections, vouches, badges and relationship paths provide context, not a guarantee of someone’s identity, character or safety. We do not promise that members have undergone criminal background checks. No subscription guarantees messages, matches, introductions, dates or a relationship. Respect boundaries, obtain consent and use your own judgment when interacting or meeting offline.

6. Your content and privacy

You retain ownership of content you provide. You give us a non-exclusive license to host, store, process and display that content as needed to operate GrapeVine, apply your visibility settings and enforce our policies. Only upload content you have the right to share, including any necessary permissions from people depicted. This license does not override your privacy rights or our Privacy Policy.

Do not publish another person’s private information or private communications without authorization. Removing your content or account is subject to limited retention for legal obligations, disputes, security and safety as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Premium, payment and automatic renewal

Free membership costs $0. GrapeVine Premium is USD $4.99 per month at the current US price. Applicable taxes and the total payable are shown before you confirm purchase. Premium is a recurring subscription, not a one-time purchase; it renews automatically each month until canceled. You authorize the payment provider to charge the disclosed recurring amount using your chosen payment method.

Website subscriptions are processed through Stripe. Android in-app subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Purchase availability depends on platform and region. The checkout or store purchase screen identifies the seller, price, currency and renewal terms before you authorize payment. We do not add a separate physical-delivery or shipping charge because this is a digital service.

Cancel future renewal using the billing provider that sold the subscription. Website subscribers can use Manage Subscription in GrapeVine Settings; Google Play subscribers can cancel in Google Play’s subscription settings. If you cannot access billing controls, email contact@foafapp.com. Cancel before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Account deletion or uninstalling the app is not a substitute for canceling billing.

Cancellation normally leaves access available through the paid period and does not automatically refund that period. Mandatory consumer rights and applicable store policies take precedence. Price changes will be disclosed as required by law and the payment provider; this page alone does not retroactively change an existing subscription.

8. Moderation, suspension and appeals

We may investigate reports, restrict visibility, remove content, suspend features or terminate accounts for violations, legal requirements or risks to members or the service. We may preserve relevant evidence and report apparent illegal activity where required or permitted by law. Enforcement depends on the available evidence and severity; we cannot guarantee detection of every violation.

You may report a concern or ask for review of an enforcement decision at contact@foafapp.com. Include your username and a concise explanation. Do not send illegal material or payment credentials. Suspension or termination does not remove any refund rights you have under applicable law.

9. Service availability and legal rights

Features may change during the open beta. We may make updates or interrupt service for maintenance, safety or technical reasons. To the extent permitted by law, GrapeVine is provided as available without a guarantee of uninterrupted service or a particular personal outcome. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Ending use and changes to these Terms

You can stop using GrapeVine and request account deletion at any time. Cancel any paid subscription separately first. We will publish changes with an updated date and provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. Material subscription changes are subject to applicable notice and consent requirements.
