What is a Verified Connection?
A Verified Connection happens after an introduction is accepted through a real person in the network. It keeps the route visible and carries stronger trust in matching, ranking, and vouches.
What is a Direct Connection?
A Direct Connection comes from inviting someone directly. It is a real trusted connection between two people, while intro paths add visible route context from the network.
Why does GrapeVine prefer introductions?
Introductions preserve accountability. They show who connects two people and add context to the match, especially when both sides want a warm start.
Can I still invite someone directly?
Yes. GrapeVine does not block direct invites. It simply makes the mutual path more valuable, so users can choose speed or trust with clear tradeoffs.
